Is that what we want to teach our children? Because everytime we do not take ownership of our mistakes, we are teaching them how to find a scapegoat. And then we wonder why they don't tell us when they made a mistake...
We all have blame and we all have fault that we must learn from, yet at the same time learn how to move past it. Letting the fear of man overcome what the word of God says will really push you back about a thousand steps! When we get to a point in our life that we know no matter what man says or does, God will provide, we have made it! But how in the world do you manage to survive until you can reach that point?
It isn't an overnight venture. I will take years to prune old thoughts, feelings, and mindsets that we have broken into our very being. But we must be persistent. And use each day as a new beginning. Learn from all failures without rotting in their stench. When we succeed, share our knowledge with others that may benefit. Keep smiling when we want to cry. Don't let THEM break you. PERSEVERE! And yes, the most popular message of love that Jesus preached...Love our enemies! (I think that last one is really giving me some teeth-clenching, tongue-biting, and loud moaning drama right about now!) However, if we can manage this, I bet we can manage anything that comes our way!.
