Did you know that millionaires:
- Live below their means?
- Live a frugal lifestyle?
- LOVE their work?
the mindset of millionaires from that all too famous (or infamous?) show from the 80s Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous narrated and hosted by Robin Leach. I can hear his voice now as I type this..."And here we have the millionaire mansion with 17 bedrooms and luxurious furnishings from ceiling to the floor boards..." As a young kid in the 80s who would not be blown away by the material possessions... yachts, mansions, cars, jewels, service for whatever and whenever you need., And we tell ourselves, "If I can ever get to that, I will have it made."
Then LIFE happens. Marriage. Kids. Obligations. Bills. 9 to 5 in a cubicle. Doctor Visits. Mortgages. Divorce. Child Support. You know the mundane list that sucks the breath of success right from you. And those millionaire dreams stay just that ...dreams. And you think there is no way possible you could ever move from check to check. Week to Week. Day to Day. You constantly wonder, how did the wealthy get wealthy? And then your goal becomes nothing but "getting money" to be the ultimate success. Because remember, that is what you see as "having it made".
1 Timothy 6:10 (NIV) " For the LOVE of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs." I hear many Christians saying that money is the root of evil. But that is not what God's word says. It says the LOVE of money. That all you do and all you seek is just to have MONEY. And you hurt ANYONE to get it. And will DO anything to have it. That my friends is when the evil comes to life.
The article referenced in this blog is really well worth the read for anyone. Even those who don't like to read. It gives you a few steps, insights, to transforming you mindset to living the life of what a millionaire really is. It is not about the money or the material things. It is about living the righteous life, doing what you can to help others, being a blessing, staying positive, always striving for the ultimate goal. When you mindset changes, your life will become the one you always dreamed. And then...maybe more!
